LEGO Architecture was first released on the Market in 1962. The beautiful collection sadly lasted only a year but was later introduced in 2008 and has been around ever since then. The purpose of such a collection is to intrigue brick builders of every age and especially to teach young children about all of the buildings and monuments that we look up to and have learned to love over the years. Some collectors argue that the models are overpriced and that LEGO is seeking adults to build these sets but many truly believe that children enjoy building these sets much more than any adult could.
There are a total of 16 sets that have been released in this collection and there is also one to be released in March of 2012. The set to be released is to be a replica of the Sydney Opera House. This new set is highly anticipated especially by those that have been following Architecture through the years and is said to be an excellent addition to any LEGO collection.
